John Fuentes is the Head of Talent at AVB Records, LLC. He has been getting paid to play drums for over 45 years starting in New York. and has been in the south bay for over 30 years playing with local artists and started his own drum school, Fuentech Drum School,  teaching drummers of all ages for over 20 years.  Prior to that, he toured with popstar Tiffany under MCA records, played with Jermaine Stuart and Noelia among other renowned artists. In addition, with Warner Brothers under Jeffrey Weist, he did artist development for drummers. He is a true entertainer, teacher, drummer, percussionist and leader who is the head of talent for AVB Records since he has worked with many of the talented artists that we are blessed to have on the We Are One Team.

Ashima Brar, MD, MBA, is the President of AVB Records. Although she continues to work as a physician in the biotech industry and has for nearly 24 years, she has a passion to fundraise for various causes. For 10 years, she had a community center called Lemonade Stand in Lomita where she raised money for kids in need of food, clothing, and educational needs. She did this by hosting several private events where musicians played at her fundraising events and raised money through silent auction items, food and drink sales.  After she had to close her facility in 2020 due to Covid, she looked for her next passion project.  She found listening to live music to be healing after she became an empty nester and decided to help these musicians by setting up this label to help provide them with music scholarships in order for them to continue to bring amazing free music to our community
